The location of the cottage was fantastic, situated in a quiet village with a play park nearby. the host was very helpful and even left a welcome pack and chocolates for the kids. the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a cozy living room with an open fire. the bathroom was clean and had extra little touches like toiletries. the facilities, including internet and off-street parking, were great.
It would have been helpful to have instructions for the cooker.

our honeymoon stay at the cottage was exceptional. it surpassed our previous experience in matlock. the modern updates and personal touches really made it feel like a home away from home.
Difficult to find in the dark.

We had the most amazing weekend getaway! The cottage was absolutely perfect - it was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was beautiful and we loved the extra little touches that made our stay special. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with information about the area. The location was great, with a lovely play park nearby and a fantastic pub just a short walk away. We also appreciated the off-street parking. a fantastic experience!
The only small issue we had was the lack of instructions for the cooker. It took us a bit of trial and error to figure it out.

The private bathroom in Post Office Cottage was so cozy and relaxing. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the bath was pure bliss. It felt like a little sanctuary of peace and tranquility.
The shower could have been a bit more powerful, but that's just my personal preference.
